Journal Policy
- The journal is published and distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY-NC-ND) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/).
- The journal publishes two issues per year. It offers individual articles online as soon as they are finalized under the issue and voulme they are assinged.
- We welcome research with unpublished novel ideas and papers that are not in the hand of another publisher.
- Submissions should not be more than 8000 words, including all material for publication in the article's print version.
- The manuscripts should be written according to the APA style 7.
- Excellent papers are submitted with the following features:
- Similarity index on Turnitin is no higher than 10%.
- Do not include libelous/defamatory materials.
- Written in a formal academic tone that adheres to ethical and academic principles.
- Data/corpus is made available to the editor at any time during the review and publication process if questions arise concerning the accuracy of the submissions.
- Authors should maintain that their submissions are academic and humanity unbiased.
- Submissions are rejected in case any has been verified to be, in whole or in substantial part, plagiarized, fabricated or contains falsified data, previously published, undeclared interest conflict, and do not conform with academic norms.
- JESAF does not publish papers that have been retracted from other journals unless the submitter(s) have logical and convincing reasons.
- Once they are submitted, only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of JESAF undergo a blind peer review immediately.
- The review process is anonymously conducted by at least two referees who may be members of the Editorial Board and other leading specialists in the field.
- We depend on our reviewers' efforts and integrity to examine each manuscript and render an opinion as to its suitability for publication.
- The papers that deviate from the journal policy or do not meet the publishing standards endure a thorough revision and refinements before the peer review process.
- All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using plagiarism detector software.
- Articles that pass the peer review in the first round take at least a month to be published in the journal, and articles that require multiple revisions may take up to six months.
- Our reviewers are an essential part of the JESAF team. They provide an insightful analysis of the manuscripts and help the editorial team ensure the journal's quality. Their reviews are foundational to every editorial decision regarding the submissions.
- Reviewers' input helps the authors bring their manuscripts to the required publication quality.
- There is no stigmatism for weak articles. We not only evaluate papers but also share expertise and help researchers grow constantly and bring submissions into their purest form and content.
- No author names added after submission. If the exclusion of an author's name or changes in the order of authors is requested, a written request signed by all the authors must be submitted to the journal.
- Only the corresponding author takes responsibility for communication with the journal during the manuscript submission process.
- After publication, it is not possible to change mistakes by the author(s). However, if errors were made by the publisher at the production stage, the original version would remain unchanged, and errors would be corrected in an erratum.
- JESAF does not charge any submission or processing fees. However, if the manuscript is withdrawn after the acceptance notification, the submitters will have to pay for the time and effort invested in processing the submission and the peer review.
- JESAF does not accept multiple submissions. A new submission by the same author(s) is considered only after a decision on the other submission is taken, and more than a paper written by the same author(s) is not published in the same issue.
