Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Authors should submit papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Before submission, please make sure that your paper layout complies with the JESAF template.

  • A manuscript should be prepared in English using JESAF Manuscript Template format.  Download Template.
  • Authors should prepare two files of the manuscript. The first one should not include information that compromises the anonymity of the author(s) in terms of names, emails, affiliations, acknowledgments, specific data collection venues or programs that may provide hints to the author(s)’ identity. This version will be used for peer review. The second is the title page file, which includes removed or anonymized information. This will not be sent to the reviewers.   • Intending authors may use previously published JESAF articles, along with the JESAF template, as a general guide to the style required for headings, paragraphing and other parts of a manuscript.
  • Eras Medium ITC font should be used for all parts of a manuscript.
  • A manuscript is written in clear, concise, and grammatical English, arrnaged in at least three pages for essay and review articles and 15 pages (maximum) for other article types.
  • Work submitted for consideration must be original, unpublished, and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Submission of the manuscript requires the agreement of all the authors.
  • It is essential for authors describing experiments on humans or animals to specify in the manuscript whether the procedures followed were compliant with the institution's ethical standards and national guidelines.
  • Authors should disclose conflicts of interest and research ethics. 
  • Authors should disclose any prior posting, publication or distribution of all or part of the manuscript to the Editor. 
  • Emails regarding the submissions, including notification of the Editors’ decision and requests for revisions, are sent through the JESAF system.
  • Authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts and are thus liable for any breach of publication ethics. In the case of using any AI tools in any form, inclduing the production of images or graphical elements of the paper, or in the collection and analysis of data, authors must disclose that in the Method Section of the paper, explaining how AI tools were used.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is an offense. All manuscripts submitted to JESAF will be checked against plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. The corresponding manuscript will be removed if a plagiarism issue is discovered even after publication.

Copyright Policy

Authors publishing with JESAF retain the copyright of their work under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY-NC-ND). This license lets others distribute, remix, adapt, modify, and build upon the work,  as long as they credit the author(s) for the original creation.
